Security Key Updates

Click here to download the latest drivers for Sentinel SuperPro security keys supplied by Wolverine Software.  These drivers can be installed on both 32- and 64-bit systems, including Window Vista.

Notes:

1.  This download will install version 7.4.0 of the Sentinel Protection Server.  In the process, it will remove earlier versions of Sentinel key drivers, but retain any configuration information you might have specified for a non-standard parallel port.

2.  The installation procedure will give you the option of informing the Windows Firewall (under XP and Vista) that these drivers are "trusted."  In our experience, this is safe to do; however, the key drivers will work OK if you elect not to exercise this option.

3.  After installing the updated drivers, do not ever reinstall Wolverine Software Products from an old (prior to May, 2007) CD.  While the new drivers are very good about disabling and removing old drivers, reinstalling old drivers on top of new drivers can, notwithstanding anyone's claims to the contrary, cause problems.  Don't do it!

4.  Follow instructions carefully.  Remove any keys before the update, and reinstall them after installation completes.

5.  Proof Animation will run more smoothly under the new drivers.  The old drivers had the bad habit of periodically interfering with Proof in a way that caused visible hesitations.
